About

Starlite Way is a portal for all of my websites for easy access to them. It also serves as a place to keep my other collections such as fanlistings, adoptions, ect. You can visit my websites and other links that I have around the site.

History

The Beginning
On May 10, 2004, Starlite Way was born on Geocities. One day, out of the blue, I decided to try webdesign. It clicked with me instantly. Back then, I was horrible at it, but I learned quickly and within a few months, my pages began to look decent. But, they were still far from great. It had things that I liked and things about me, such as pictures of me, my family and friends, galleries and links to sites that I liked.

Webhosts

SW went through many webhosts! All were free. It was born on Geocities.com. Then, after some time, I decided to move on to Tripod, Angelfire, then finally Freewebs. I started to get really good when I moved to Freewebs. My first layout there was made 100% by me. I was so proud! After two years of using Freewebs, I moved on again. This time, I bought a .com domain and got free hosting from Trap17. That didn't last long as it does require forum posting in order to keep it. I didn't have time to do that, then I lost the hosting. From there, I went to Freehostia, something I had heard of a long time ago. That's where I am now. That's how SW's domain came to be.

Name

When I first made Starlite Way on Geocities, I named it My Life because it was about me. Later, I found out that the name was overused, so I renamed it to Kirei, my nickname. As time went by, I finally named it Starlite Way, a more mature and professional name. It just popped into my head and the two words sounded good together, so I went with it. It doesn't mean anything, it just sounds pretty.

So! That's how Starlite Way come to be!
